Imaginary Girls (2020) explores the task of outing oneself. This duet investigates how to reimagine identity and create exaggerated, absurd, fantastical selves. Through visibly constructing and deconstructing characters and relationships onstage, the performers aim to disrupt viewer expectations, invite them to be part of live transformations, and simultaneously encourage a playful approach to confrontation.
